So we are trying to stick with Japanese names here. These are my faves:
Hinata: 向日葵 "sunflower" or 陽向 "facing the sun".
Junko: 順 (jun) "obedient" or 純 (jun) "genuine, pure" combined with 子 (ko) "child".
Suzume:Means "sparrow"
Tsubaki:Means "camellia flower"
I'm open to suggestions. Thanks you!
What do you think of this name for a girl.?
Kiyoko is one of my favs
Reply:I have a new one for you. Make one up. It's way more original. I wish my parents would have made mine up. I wouldn't have cared if it was made fun of at school. Atleast I would be proud that my parents took then time to think of a name for me, instead of saying, "Hey look, I found a name on eBay! It's called 'Kayla'." Yeah, just like more than half the girls out there. Trust me. But you might want to try out a name that doesn't get ridicule, just in case your daughter likes it better that way. Or you could get a temporary name and change it to how your daughter wants it to be once she's three, four, or five. By the way, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Reply:I love the Japanese name Amaya, meaning night rain. I think it's beautiful!
