Reply:Among fruit and berry-bearing plants for the home are:
Capsicum Annum;Ornamental peppers, grown as annuals.Come in many colours, all start off green.Sow seed now, keep at 70F and germination will take about 14 days.Keep humid, water well and feed fortnightly.
Citrus Mitis.Dwarf orange trees, slow growing to about 1m.Kept in a light airy position and well watered, produces scented flowers and possibly edible fruit.
Cistus limon is similar ,having ornamental lemons.
Ficus Deltoidea, the Mistletoe Fig.Caries grey-gold berries, has small dark leaves and is slow growing.
Solanum Capsicastrum,Winter Cherry -a familiar plant at Xmas time.Requires bright light and fairly cool temps; The berries are poisonous!
All should be obtainable to order from a reputable Garden Centre or nursery, the peppers are often grown from seed,
